It's a little difficult for me to describe, but the short of it is, while she's a Holy Maiden of the Church of Elemia [Spoilerish Ahead, sorry I can't figure out how to set background colors in comments ><] and was viewed at one point as the reincarnation of a goddess [End Spoilerish], the unknown basis of the religion (and much of their world for that matter) is much more magical and scientific than it is divine, even if the ways of the Church are regarded as so. Still, Aurica is emotionally hinged on faith, and she has a great deal of that. It's more up to you if you want this to apply, and she tends to be too naive to pick up on deception anyway, exceptions applying of course.
