[Merem and Ciel are taking a walk in the park, enjoying the warm weather like a normal family. Keywords there on normal. Unfortunately, there's an interloper here in the form of Arcueid, the Princess of the True Ancestors.]

[The White Princess takes a hefty swing and nails Ciel right in the stomach. Even though she should be in horrid pain, she's still smiling. And she keeps smiling after a few more punches go to her face, which causes Arcueid to pause.]

What are you doing, Princess? This kind of thing is useless, you know? Watch and see.

[Merem grabs Ciel's arm and without pause, pulls her down and bites her neck. All the way through. Her head rolls off in a small spray of arterial blood and Merem grabs it before it hits the ground. The Crown starts to spin the head around on his finger struggling to balance it like a basket ball.]

See? It has to be like that.

I didn't want to kill her, I just wanted to beat her up for being stupid. I guess she managed to run away by getting droned because she knew what was coming. Or I guess maybe she didn't. Either way that shell is useless so you can do what you want with her.

[WELL. At least one of them is impressed with Merem's mad skillz.

I guess the world would be less annoying, though. [She sounds just a little bitter...either at missing out on her attempt to fight with Ciel, or the fact that she's gone, it's really hard to tell. Most likely the former.]

I'm angry at her because I was hoping she was at least competent enough to look after Shiki, who she's supposed to care about too, even if she is an idiot and Shiki would never go for her.

But she went and screwed it up. I'm mad at her. That's the only reason.

[This looks awful but he's turning around and covering his face with his other hand.]

[Like talking quiet serves any purpose with those vampire ears. She stares at the back of his head for a long moment before finally speaking in a somewhat huffy tone.]

[Gotta throw the kid who's older than her a bone every once in a while.]

[Arcueid then slaps Merem on the shoulder, to display that he's kind of being one right now.]

[The boy thinks to highly of her, and it kind of throws her off...so she's really not sure how to respond to that. So, instead of trying, she simply looks over at the corpse.]

Just eat it, I'm sick of looking at her.

[He sighs and summons up one of his demons, tosses the rest of the body into it, and unsummons it. There, dead Ciel is gone.]

Now you should go get a malt and see how much better it is.

I'll pass. It has a nasty quality compared to things the Vatican supplies.

[Arc wants this to be a discussion about delicious food so badly, but she knows it won't be.]
